Original 2wd Blazer frame in salvage yard
I heard this Blazer was in our local Pic-n-Pull so I went to check it out. First off let me assure you that there is basically nothing worth getting off of this thing OTHER than the frame and possibly the windshield frame, it looked decent. As I was getting there a guy was pulling the rear 5-lug 12 Bolt (he wasn't taking the trailing arms), the seats, and a few other odds and ends. I got the front carpet strip and fuel tube cover. I looked over it the best I could and the frame *seemed* to be straight and original. When I left it had the power steering box still there and an automatic transmission still bolted in. No A/C, no tach, no tilt, etc. BUT if someone wants a decent original 2wd frame it is sitting there. I asked the guy at the counter and he said they ask $115 for a frame but I believe the customer would have to remove the tub and take JUST the frame for that price. By the way, the tub is pretty much toast. Just thought I would pass this along so maybe a board member could take advantage of it. I looked over it pretty well so feel free to ask me questions.
