upper control arm bent with zero miles?

i had ekstensive metal works build me a set of tubular arms, upper and lower. the upper a arm is now bent. the upper a arm should not have a lot of weight on it. i do not see how this thing got bent. what should i look for?
i am running 22.5 inch wheels turned down to 22s with the ten hole adapters. is there to much weight on the wheel side, will this cause the a arms to bend? any help would be great. thankx
