A quick story about me and my truck.

I'll try to keep it short...

When I was a kid, my Dad had a red '72 C10 with a 350 and 3 speed. Even at only 4 or 5 years old, I really loved that truck and have many great memories of the places we've gone in it... like vacations and fishing, etc. He sold the truck and I've never seen it since. Since only being 4 years old I've always wanted my own.

Then about 6 years ago I was browsing ebay and found a '72 C10 close to me listed on there with under 30 minutes to go. It had a 350, auto, A/C cab. I bid and won the truck for $1,310. I drove the truck for 2 or 3 years then sold it to my brother for $1,200. He drove it a few times and one of the front steel brake lines blew and then it sat for a few years.

My friend needed an engine for his S10, so my brother sold him the truck for $600.

I called my friend a few days ago to see what his plans were for the '72, and he said he was going to scrap it. Can you believe that?!! He owed me $100 yet, so he gave me the truck to settle the debt.

So now I have the truck back 6 years later. The only thing missing is the engine. I'm going to try to find a TBI motor for it and get it back together. I've got 3 little babies now, and hopefully they will enjoy riding in my truck just as I enjoyed riding in my Dad's.
