Dead again!
I went to leave for work today and my truck was dead to the world again. Arg!!!!
So I went straight to the parts store and bought me a new one wire alternator. My quesion is, do I have to buy the harness to bypass the old regulator, or jump it out?? If not will the voltage gauge still work? I like the idea of cleaning up the wiring by eliminating the old regulator, but I dont want to start hacking wires without knowing what it might affect! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
