Hello;I was looking at an item on ebay and someone posted a link to this site. Very cool.
I call my project a 56 big window short bed step side chevy pickup. But its actually a 58 cab with a 55 front clip. So far what I have done is an HEIDTS front cross member and hats,tubular A arms, 2" drop spindles,disc brakes, power steering rack, Four link in the rear with a 89 comaro dif, frame c notched and box plates, power brake unit under cab, aluminum gas tank under the bed, the motor is a 350 four bolt main with double hump heads a mild comp cam edelbrock intake and 600 carb, aluminum radiator, Trans is a performance biult turbo 350. I'm in the process of running the brake lines. Then I will start on the body work. I'm thinking of turquoise for paint and 18"-20" combo for wheels. I will try to send some pic's but I have to figure out how to shrink them first.
