I was prospecting a new Tahoe around 2005, before the economy went on vacation, and after seeing the average cost for a well-equipped truck, I decided to invest in a few nice 4-5-6 Chevy trucks and drive the Tahoe I already owned. Five years later, the Tahoe has almost 200K on it and I have a few real nice 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, that I was able to save from the auction block.

I agreee, I would rather have 4-5 very nice 4-5-6 Chevy trucks, than drop a cool $100K on a '65 Chevy C10 resto-mod.
