2010 gmc ext cab screw up

my buddys new 2010 gm ext cab screwed up today in the driveway. it was running just fine an hour before. he went to start it, it cranked like it had with no fuel or spark? but heres the strange part the truck will keep on cranking when you turn it off and remove the key for 3-5 seconds then stop. he had it towed to the dealer. service mgr went out to the truck tried it and it did the same thing. the truck has 1400 miles and 40 or so days since he bought it. so its at the gm dealer. he's talking the 60 day money back if your not happy clause. strange and he' so we will keep on top of this one for sure.
