WIW...Bagged longbed project (roller)
I'm contemplating selling my just finished longbed frame either by itself or as a roller. See my build thread in my signature for information on the frame and the bed, but quick details are
Completely stripped, primed, and painted frame with hammered paint. ALL NEW suspension parts and brakes (4 wheel discs) (Front CPP kit with cross drilled and gas slotted 12" rotors), 5 lug r, new calipers and pads painted with black caliper paint, new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, billet tie rod adjuster, bag brackets, 4 RE-7 Airbags, Trailing arms shimmed perfectly to center rear tire in rear, ECE super trac bar, shock relocator, new Monroe shocks, 2" drop blocks, Front sway bar (not installed yet). All grade 5 or 8 bolts brand new with loctite and lock washers, 373 open rear with all new seals, rear cross drilled 12" brakes with new calipers and pads, new cross shafts, new idler arm, newer power steering gearbox, new control arm and driveshaft U-joints and new carrier bearing on the 2 pc driveshaft (carrier bearing mount also was flipped for proper angle with the bagged truck). Braided stainless brake lines attached to nice polished factory lines. As of now all that needs to be done is running brake lines and air lines for the bags. Has a 5 gallon chrome tank mounted at the rear. Looking at a WIW on the rolling chassis itself OR This chassis with a nice LWB bed (few minor rust spots in bed and two pits on the wheel well) but otherwise very nice bedsides, decent floor, and tubs, and including a decent tailgate (have repop and NOS gates I would include for more) also would include a 67-68 front clip in good condition and a nice cab (not the one in my build thread that's shaved) with glass that's had all the patch panels done so it's rust free. Has a bench seat in the cab. and a nice gas tank. Will include 2 complete doors with glass that are decent but need work on the inside bottoms. So it'd be a complete roller truck just needing to be wired up and have an engine/tranny installed. I will include a stock harness with the rolling chassis. have all other small parts needed to finish it up as well. I also have Viair dual 380's with a 7 switch box and a second setup of VIar dual 480's in chrome with the Accuair setup that I will consider selling for additional or will save for my blazer project. So what's it worth as a rolling chassis vs a full roller truck? As mentioned, more pictures and details in my build thread. To be clear, the cab is NOT the cab in my build thread.
