Here they (tire sellers)will only put new tires on the rear of a front wheel drive,so the arse don't swing around on you in a corner.but i would for sure say tall snows on the rear is good, anything to get traction,for weight don't use like a solid heavy weight,use bags of sand or gravel,great to have when you are stuck but remember that weight is comin at you,from behind@ however fast you were going,sand or gravel in a bag may split on impact,lead weights ie dumbells,or other solid mass is gona hurt something or someone
