Engine twisted in the frame?
I'm swapping in an LT1 which has plenty of flat technically level area on top. If I place a straightedge across the top and measure down from the straightedge the drivers side is 1 in closer to the frame than the same point on the passenger side. 1963 C-10 straight six motor mounts used.
My question is thus; Should the top edges of the frame where the top of the engine mount attaches be equal distance? This all arose from the 1967 C-10 headers I bought having the number 1 primary hit the engine mount. Thanks in advance, - Brian
