Bagged 57 panel truck, BBC 496
I am helping build this truck for a friend of mine. It is a 1957 Chevrolet panel truck. When he bought it, it had a straight six and a four speed. The truck has been tubed to fit the 22" wide tires, four link, with a 9" f**d rear end by Fast Chassis . The front of the frame was chopped off and a later model Camaro sub frame with disc brakes was "Z" on to the truck frame.
I haven't found a picture of when he first got the truck, I will try to post one later. This is it now ![]() The tubs ![]() we cut out the fire wall for the new engine ![]() 496 BBC with Edelbrock tunnel ram, and the start of the new smooth firewall ![]() the back of the new firewall with original hood hinge braces ![]() the new smooth firewall tacked in, laying out the floor in cardboard ![]() Last edited by millertime57; 03-15-2010 at 07:47 PM. |
