New '67 burb to the crowd

I picked up my second project, first of this extreme.

About my self:
Im 18 (hence b4mytime), live in Madison WI and have been around trucks all my life. I grew up in a series of 69 dually's and a 77 crew cab dually. I have been a chevy boy since day one.

I am in high school, plus attend a Fire academy at my local college. On top of that I work two jobs so progress will be slow in the start.

I have been searching high and low with my dad for a 67 or 67 suburban since I was 13. He wants one also, and is kind of jealous I have one before him!

The truck:
The truck was used at a fire station up until about '98. It was then sold to a fire equipment supply store. It stayed with them for two years and then was sold to the guy I bought it from. He had it since 2000 but it has been sitting in the field for around 8 years I speculate.

It is a 283 v8 with a 3sp on the tree. 2wd 3/4ton with the trailing arm rear end (weird right?).

She needs some work still but she will get what she deserves. The good side is, I got to to start up and run beautiful, I even drove it around for a little bit. Not bad for a field find!
