hub question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I know that the answer to this question is probably posted somewhere but I havent been able to come up with a for sure answer yet. I am putting a 205 transfer case into a rolling frame that was all time 4wd. I want this truck to be streatable as possible so I was hoping to be able to use 2wd. I was wondering if I had to swap the hubs from truck to truck and if so what that all involves. I found a thread that sort of explained this but I still didnt know for sure. I would think I would need to use the manual locking hubs but I dont know that answer for sure. Thanks in advace.
