low79fx Registered User Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: odessa,tx Posts: 208	Changing rod link shift to cable shift on column Has anyone ever made an attempt to swap their shift linkage to cable linkage like the newer vehicles come with. Well I just got through converting my 65 GMC from rod linkage to cable linkage and let me tell you it works great. I'll try posting pics later.
