C10 Sway Bars

So I just got done updating/replacing my sway bars on my 65 big window short bed stepside. The Truck came with a factory front sway bar and had I installed a 1" aftermarket bar on it, but was never that happy with the handling. Don't get me wrong it handled a lot better than my bumper dragging 66 did with no bars.

I like to drive a vehicle that handles so after some research I went with a front bar off of a 1988 Chevy 1-ton and a rear bar off of Camaro IROC-Z28. The front, I believe is a 1.25" bar (I know it was larger than what any of 3/4-ton trucks I saw had) and the rear is 15/16th" bar.

Well, today it didn't rain so I got to try it out on a nice untravelled twisty, winding road near my home and all I can say is "Holy.......!" man what a difference, I've always thought these trucks had potential and today I got to experience some of it first hand. Of all the things I could spend $70 on (the cost of the two bars with tax at Pick&Pull" I can think of nothing else that could make as big of an impact on how the truck drives.
