Wink Please no more hijacking

I've had a long hot day so I am going to take it out on this forum . It seams like there are a lot of new faces around especially in this Blazer section, which is awesome! HOWEVER, I have been seeing a lot of hijacked threads over the last few weeks and for some reason it rubs me the wrong way. If someone starts a thread asking about something or wanting an answer, please don't jump in and ask for something different just because it is in the same ballpark. In other words, (and this is totally just a made up example) if someone posts a picture of an off the wall transfer case that is in their blazer and asks questions about it, please don't jump in and say "Hey I have a transfercase too, why is mine painted pink blah blah blah etc etc?" Now if your reply is directly related to the orignal post, then get after it, post away.

I'm not trying to be an @ss or anything, I love this forum because it is made up of friendly people who genuinely want to learn and help, including myself. The reason I am posting this is to try and keep the threads somewhat neat and concise and possibly save some aggravation for the original poster.

I was new here once as well and made my share of replies that I shouldn't have, just trying to keep things running smoothly around here. So run a search, look through old threads, and then start your own if you don't see an existing answer.

Moderators, I hope my little commentary isn't crossing any lines. rant off...
