09's can take a hit

This is my 2009 2500HD work truck that got nailed by an out of county sherriff. She was doing at least 55 in a 35 zone with no lights or siren. I was in the passenger seat while a co-worker was driving. It was my service truck but he happened to be driving at the time. It weighed about 10k lbs with all my tools and gear in it. The insurance company ended up totalling it out. Im in the process of trying to buy it for the motor and trans for my 79. The truck only had 18,xxx miles on it. I picked it up brand spanking new last october with 2 miles on it. No airbags went off and not one piece of broken glass. we drove it on to the flatbed no problem. thank god for quality steel. heres the pics.
