Urgent help needed

Hi, I'm trying to fit my new mini starter to cure my hot starting issues and I've run into a problem. My old startre has three wires to it, the big battery + cable and two smaller wires, one on each side of the solenoid. The new starter (proform) only has one small terminal, do I connect both wires to the one terminal or do I tape one up or what? At the moment I'm still runing a mallory twin point distributor with an external coil and ballast resistor. I will soon be moving to an HEI when I also swap the nitake for an Edelbrock performer and have a new M&H wiring loom that is modified from new for HEI.

Help, I don't want to screw anything up and now can't finish the job.
