Maiden Voyage Today on my 72

I've been working on my burb slowly and not getting into a hurry but I have been frustrated with it not starting so I broke down and took it to the shop. (Now I'm really broke down if you know what I mean!)
Found out that my carb was bad. They replaced the carb with another edelbrock and started it up but the gas flooded out the cylinders. Something was wrong with the new carb so they put another new one on. They did a few more things for me but long story short--I drove her for the first time tonight. I wish I had a camera, there were 3 of my kids and me all in the front seat. Kids were loving it, whopping and holloring. We've waited a long time to get it started and I'm glad it's up and moving now.
Now, we're going to get all the parts and pieces back on I'm hoping before too long I'll be driving my burb everyday.
Have a good day!
Joe
