AAW Wire harness install routing?

Hey Fella's,

I'm in the process of installing an AAW Classic Update harness in the Burb.
Well, AAW leaves plenty of extra wire for custom routing which is nice but leaves me maybe too many options.

Right now I'm doing the engine harness, starter/alternator/temp sensor/oil pressure. My truck's wiring had been "modified" if you know what I mean so I'm not sure where the wires are supposed to go. Currently I ran the starter/alt bundle from the starter to the inside passenger frame rail to the front under the radiator and back the driver inside frame rail. Since I have all this extra wire I thought this would make for a cleaner install. I plan to run the wires that need to go inside the cab through one of the unused holes in the firewall.

If anyone has installed one of these harnesses how/where did you run your engine harness? Is this OK or a bad idea?
Also I've been taking lots of pictures I was thinking this may be good a thread for someone wanting to install a harness, what do you think?

By the way, this AAW harness is a nice piece.

Thanks, Dave
