AC condenser retrofit. What fits?
As I went to install the condenser for my underdash AC unit, I found that it had a crack in it. I took it to the local radiator shop to see if it could be repaired. The owner took a look at it and told me that even if he could repair it, it was not worth it due to the fact that it was an old "S" type and not a "cross flow" type that operates much more efficiently with the 134a refrigerant. He recommended that I try to find one from a newer vehicle that fit, in order to keep the cost down. I was hoping that someone her has experience with this. I'm trying to avoid buying a brand new one since money's been kinda tight. Just wondering what everyone who has AC has run on their trucks?
Thanks, Chris
