original engine???
hi everyone,new to the forum...great site!i am working on a 66 c10 bbw short fleet and i am wondering if it is the original 283?the truck came with protect o plate and engine code is f1020ta and from what i came up with is it was originally a 6 cylinder.having said that the 283 is period correct and seems right!any comments would be greatly appreciated.thanks folks!dan
