how can i tell if i have lowered spindles?

I bought a 63 chevy truck that has disc in the front. supossidly it has lowered springs on it but the previous owner does not know about the spindles. I am heading down to get some different front wheels put on in a little bit and when they have the tires off what can i look for to determine if I have lowered spindles.

I don't think it does. the front is not very low. front tires are 235x75x15.

I eventually want to move the 235x75x15 to the back and put 215x75x15 in the front and bring it down a little bit.
