square body 1/2 4x4 brake shoes same as 68 1/2 2wd?
Long story short, my friends uncle gave me some brake shoes he bought for his late 70's chevy 4x4 1/2 6 lug with disc brakes, he said his truck had the 'big brakes' or something, and that these (as he hands me the brake shoes) will fit my 68, so I save em until today im replacing wheel cycs/shoes on my truck, the shoes look the same to me so i put em on
they are draggin slightly with adj. all the way loosened (screwed together till it bottoms out, I havent bleed them yet) the drums come on and off pretty easy with slight drag. help? do i need a diff. set of shoes?
