Vortech SC or BBC?

Ok. So I'm not as serious as most of you guys on this side but I thought I'd ask this one here.

As a project for the future I'd like the 64 to put out more power (and go faster).

What I've been looking at is a BBC (454 ish) or a Vortech super charger on my mild small block 350.

Now I know I could do the whole 383 thing but that seems kinda boring for the money I'd throw at it. I'm not looking for an 11 but I'd like to get it out of the 15's haha. The 15 was with a 3.73 open carrier, 26'' tire, a TKO-500 and the mild 350 small block. I couldn't really launch the truck because, well, it would just spin. So I took it easy. The corrective action has been the LSD that I just bought.

So what makes more sense.. 454 or under hood supercharger.

This truck is my daily driver and need it to get some gas mileage / street manners. Thanks!
