newb block question!

hello everyone i was hoping to get some opinions on my engine block.i have a 66 short fleet with original 283.i have been kicking the can around this one for a while and decided that i want to build it!i know i know put in a 350!anyway i pulled the heads off and i measured the holes and it seems that it is already 60 over....bummer!!there dosent seem to be a ridge formed and the walls still look crosshatched im thinking it was rebuit not that long ago.dont know for sure!sorry about the long winded thred but do you think this would be a buildable block or should i cry a bit and look for something else?obviously i guess i would have to sonic test the block.any experienced opinions would be appreciated.thanks dan!
