SM465 Question
I pulled the shifter out of my sm465 to install the cab after it was painted. After I reinstalled the shifter, it will not go into any gear, clutch in or out transfer case in gear or out. My question is this: Could the trans be stuck between gears or not in neutral when I install the shifter? If this is the case, what do I need to do? Pull top cover and align or can I do this through the shifter tower hole? If the truck were not so original this would have been solved by an automatic but I was stubburn and left it as it came. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Harold
