Question about installing receiver hitch on 1972 GMC 1/2 ton - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello all,

I need to install a class III/IV receiver hitch on my 1/2 ton 1972 GMC long bed.
Looking at the Draw Tite brand and model 41504

Question is this, anyone running one with a stock bumper on it? I have the original dealer bumper on my GMC, been on there since new...and I want to keep it on there. Will the hitch mount under the bumper? Can't find drop dimensions to check before I buy one. My spare mount is already gone so I don't have to worry about that.
