New GM door to cab seal = really hard to close door :(
Obviously its becuase the seal is new, but for those who have installed new seals, about how long did it take for the gaskets to settle down and regain a normal closing door. Im not too happy with the opend box I recieved.. the gasket wasnt in a nice coil as I figured it to be in but.. anyway Its installed so no turning back now. It had a few flattened spots but Im sure it will even out. Maybe on the other side, I will lay the seal outside to get warm before putting it in the truck too?
