Parking Brake Cable Issues
I recently lifted my '76 shortbed 4", and one issue I have come across after driving the truck is with the parking brake cables. The metal cable housings that run from a bracket on the frame to the rear drums are being pulled too tight. From driving the truck and the suspsension travel the small clips that hold the cable housing in place on the bracket have broken from being pulled too hard.
Are there any places to get longer cable housings?? or will it be necessary to move the factory brackets lower? Are there companies that make different cable housing brackets for lifted trucks? Any help with this would be appreciated
