What the differences of the inner door panels?

O.K. What all the differences of the inner door panels. I know that 72 doors have the screw that hold the inner and outer together. The arm rest are different. Will parts from a 72 door fit the other years? The window regulators and the inner door handle are different also. They are all sold different in books,mostly 67-71 door parts together and 72 door parts show they are different, but will 67-71 door parts work on a 72 door? Thanks for the help.
