Something funny happened yesterday...
So I just dropped a 350 that I built into my '67 and got it to a point where I was able to drive it. It's still open headers with a thumpr cam. Loud as all get out needless to say. So my dad comes out and wants to go for a ride. As soon as we take off, he wishes that he had brought along some earplugs. lol. We went down the road a little way and turned around. (I live in the country, so it's not like there's any form of noise control out here.) As we're going back to the house, he points to the dash. (I couldn't hear him over the truck anyway.) I immediately start checking my oil pressure and temp gauges. Nothing's wrong. I look back at him and he just points to the dash again. When I looked the second time, I saw what he was trying to tell me. The gas gauge needle fell off!
