Starting Troubles

In my 84 Suburban, quite often I'll have to turn the key three or four times before the motor will turn over. When it doesn't start, it just clicks one time and then does nothing. I've checked all of the connections and they are good. I don't lose battery power at any time.

I'm assuming that this is probably my starter solenoid taking a dump on me, but I wanted to ask for other opinions before I buy one. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave
