Front shock install for dumbies?

I bought replacement front shocks for a 1980 1/2 ton 4x4 I bought recently (front shocks were missing) but I've never replaced front shocks on a truck before...

The shocks are Pro-comp ES-3000's (#324509) and came with two hardware bags that have some sort collar type incerts and 2 "metal dog bone" pieces but no instructions and the website doesn't have any install instructions either...

Can someone help a noob out?

Just looking for proper instuctions so I'm not mucking about wasting my time or eating the end of the shock when I try to uncompress it

I'll also need to know what size/length/grade or bolts/nuts/washers to pickup too for the front shocks and for the rear shackles as one side had the end of the rivets ground off before I bought it.....
