go carts---need input

hey guys me and a buddy are going to make a go cart, we got a 5 hp briggs and straton with the crank shaft coming out the side, he has his small engines ticket from a trades school here so he knows his sh it with biulding up those motors and i figure i can make a pretty good frame etc...but what im wanting to know is have any of you guys made them or have any good pointers/ideas, we are pretty stoked and wanna get going on it..any pics or helpful info would be great
