Edelbrock Performer 600 Install Questions

First off I want to say sorry for the crappy pictures, I only had my phone down at the shop.

I have a 1980 k10 that had a 250 in it, I swapped in a 350 with a qjet on it and it has been acting up so my cousin let me borrow one of his Performer 600's I have the carb bolted down and most of the stuff hooked up, but it is the throttle and kick down which i have not figured out.

As you can see there is a "ball" type thing at the top of the throttle bracket, my throttle cable will not fit onto this ball, mine slides onto the pin and then a keeper keeps it from coming off. And I dont see a place for the kick down to go, Can someone please help me figure this out, Im not sure if there are just some simple parts that I can buy that will replace that ball and allow my throttle cable to hook up or not and as for the kick down, i am not sure either, I think I could probably hook it to the bottom hole if i could find the right kind of part to do that.

Throttle cable and the "ball"

Bottom hole and the kick down

Thanks, Matt
