Hi there, I just recently discovered this forum and when I saw how great it looked I joined right away. I have already got some valuable info and it's great to see all the projects. I gives me some incentive to keep moving ahead on my project. I have a 66 LWB C10 with 133,500 original miles on it. I bought it from the son of the original owner 12 years ago. I drove it a little for about 4 years and then the clutch went out. I didn't really have the place or time to do much work on it at the time, so except for going out and starting it up occasionally, it sat for about 3 more years. About 5 yrs ago we bought our current home with a double garage with room for a small shop. I pulled the truck in and started the tear down. A lot of "life" got in the way and I just recently have been able to do some serious work. I plan on a complete suspension overhaul and a small block engine. I plan on fixing the small amount of rust through in the normal places and then put it together and drive it with the great patina for awhile. I've got 2.5 in. drop spindles, a 1 in. drop coils, and disc breaks up front insalled. The next move is to turn it around in the garage and start on the rear suspension.
