Keeping drum brakes another year, rebuild tips?

I had planned swapping to disk, but due to $$ I need to keep the drums another year. So they need work. Truck is a '63 Chevy. Now the truck will pull to left or right first stop of the day, and peddle goes almost to floor and takes force to stop.

List so far is wheel cylinders, shoe's, adjuster hardware, rear hose, rear P brake cables. Might as well replace front wheel bearings. I am not sure on drums yet-

MC was replaced last year, most lines replaced 2 years ago.

I want it safe, but still plan on the disk in a year or so. Any thing to look out for, or special parts I need before I start? What parts will not be available at the local parts store?
