Flooding when hot

i have a brand new edelbrock 600 electric choke, and a manual fuel pump with only two lines in and out, when my truck gets hot and i turn off for a few minutes when i go to crank back the carb is flooded. i was told to get a fuel pump with 3 ports one for return will this help?
