problems with a mechanic

Kinda figuring I'll drive it till it breaks completely, take it to a family friend that re-builds transmissions (bit of a drive down there but at this point it'd be worth it), have him fix it right and write me a paper saying in his opinion it wore prematurely due to a poor job on the part of the previous shop, and take them to court.

The other option could be that maybe it'll just last forever. Who knows. I'm sure if I take it back there again they'll just break something else.
