a couple cool 4x4's i found in Tx driving thru
I flew in to Dallas and drove to Abeline the past 2 weeks. I stopped along the way and met some really nice guys and after talking for hours about our own trucks and cars we are building, they showed us the collections of parts and restored classics they had. The square body dually was basically the shop rig. It has a cummins/4l80 and was done right. When we left they told us about a gentleman a few exits down that collected chevelles and camaros. He had the 72 suburban you will see cut down to a "mega-cab" pickup. On 52's it was a really neat rig. He is upgrading to 2-1/2tons from the 1 tons that were underneath it. His chevelles and camaros were outstanding. It goes to show you that when you travel, you can meet some very neat and polite fellow enthusiasts who love the hobby as much as we all do, and share their passion with everyone.
