anyone done a 4L60E to 5 speed in a 98+?

hello, i have a 98 S10 and s currently the 4L60E set-up. i really want a 5 speed for gear control on the highway and ease around town, and just for fun. a new truck is not really in the budget ofn time or money, but i would like to do a 5 speed conversion on mine. it is the 2.2L and wondering what parts, what it would take, and what trans? wire harnesses? ect. i am a very good mechanic and could doit easily...with a little info and guidance. thanks. has anyone done this before? thanks guys
