1987 blazer.parked then no power to distr.

ok my buddy has a 1987 k5 blazer, and after unloading his boat int he water he parked it.later in the day he couldnt start it, and found hes not getting any power to the distributor.he's checked all inline fuses, and none of which are blown.

it has a brand new distributor/coil etc.

any ideas? obvious stuff like the wire that plugs into the coil etc was checked, all good.
