I also started rebuiling the TBI. The truck was runing when I removed it but when I disassembled the regulator about 1/4 cup of rust came out of it. The injector bodies were also very rusted and pitted. I cleaned it all up but Ineed to get the throttle shaft seals which I can not find. I will plan to install new injectors as well.

You made a good case for upgrading to a replacement polyethylene fuel tank. Thanks, I will do that.
