Lifting points to remove motor/trans
I'm getting ready to pull my 292/sm465 & can't figure out where to hook the lift chains as there's no lifting loops/straps on the motor. Should I remove the intake/exhaust manifolds & use some of those bolt holes?
Also, my truck is all stock & the trans xmember is still riveted in the frame. Can the motor & trans be pulled together without removing the xmember first? I have removed the core support, grill & bumper to minimize lifting angles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
