Blazer Large Fuel Tank Install

I had seen everyone elses Blazer tank install and I to had reservations about how low it hung down so I tried something a little different with my rear crossmember so the tank could sit higher. Anyone else done anything like this........???

we are welding the nuts for the fuel tank to the bottom frame flange, since it is really hard to get to and will be the last thing installed. The bolts for the tank straps are also being welded in to facilitate installation. Pictures will follow. tomorrow on this part of the install.
