Ok, maybe someone knows this. What would be involved if I buy the van and use the 350 and 700r4? Would it pretty much just bolt in? There wouldnt be a bunch of wiring or anything like that would there? Could I use the trans crossmember out of the said van in my '64? If it runs good it'd be worth 1000 bucks for the engine, trans and crossmember wouldnt it? Then I could look and see if I could swap everything in the front to my original cross member. Just looking to make a more hiway friendly daily driver vs my 230 straight six with 3 on the tree and manual brakes and steering. I am VERY uneducated at this stuff. Any thoughts??
