Saved from the crusher.
I had posted some 64-66 parts for sale on craigslist a few months ago and had a guy send a text message saying he was looking for a '61 grill and a hood. He had a '63 cab that he wanted to trade for my hood but I wasn't interested since I've already got an extra BBW '66 cab I was trying to sell. Well, this tuesday he calls me saying he has to either sell the cab or take it to the crusher that day as his work has been slow and he needed the money by the next day. He was asking $75 bucks and said he could deliver it. Cheap enough, and I needed an extra inner roof skin/headliner for one of my future projects anyways. I gave him $100 since he had to drive about 25 miles one way, and it kept me from spending the time/gas money to go get it. Turns out to be a BBW cab with the 3 speed columm/pedals, steering wheel, gauge panel, heater, and kick panel vents still in it. The floors and rockers are GONE as it the front of the roof overhang, and the firewall has been hacked some but it has some good parts on it. Just glad it didn't get crushed and some of the parts will get sold to help other projects!
Couple of pics right after he dropped it off. Rough but a few decent parts. I was mainly interested in the BBW inner panel and headliner panel.
