Saying Hey from Iowa...

I have a '99 Chevy Silverado, short box, 4.3 daily driver. Been getting the itch to freshen her up as I've been lurking around this forum for the past few years...

Here's a quick picture...this is about 2 years old...has been getting rusty ever since.

I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as far as updating the suspension/bagging/lowering it. Don't want to go crazy, but, was looking to do a 4/6 drop with bags and 18" steel style stock chevy rims.

I am COMPLETELY new to suspension, but I ain't afraid to get my hands dirty. Just curious if it will improve the ride, if it's worth it or what the general opinion is...
