to short spindle.

Hei, i`m about to rebuild my 63 chevy now, i have done the 73-87swap with crossmember from a 74, totaly rebuilded. i have bought a lot of parts, but my 2.5" drop spindle from LMCTRUCK wont fitt?? ( trying to find the partnumber now ) the caliper from my 74 fits and so does the rotor, but the spindle spindle is to short, so i cant screw the nut long enough in, miss about an half Centimeter to get the splint in..... .. i measure the old spindleaxle and the new spindle, the old one is about 3/8" shorter....?

I have read some place that they used to types of spindles after 1981? is that right? but i have also read that the calipers from 73-87 dont fit to the new type of spindle... they fit!

i`m fed up now, i
thought i had done the research good enough.............

Best regards from norway! B-)
